What is Cinemania?
Cinemania is Heartland Film’s signature fundraising event taking place April 11, 2025, at The Crane Bay Event Center.
This epic one-night celebration is inspired by classic films like "Flashdance," "Purple Rain," "Fame," "Dirty Dancing," "Footloose," and "Xanadu"! Come out in eclectic '80s chic and get ready to cut loose with radical drinks, legit food, electric entertainment and bitchin' activations!
Proceeds from Cinemania go towards supporting Heartland Film’s mission to curate, promote and celebrate thoughtful and engaging films from diverse perspectives.
What does the fundraiser benefit?
Since 1991, Heartland Film's mission has been to curate, promote and celebrate thoughtful and engaging films from diverse perspectives. Cinemania supports the non-profit arts organization's film festivals, community events and education programs.

TICKETS
What are the different ticket options?
Premiere Ticket ($300) – Includes a night of drinks, food, non-stop entertainment and interactive experiences.
Party Pack ($3,000) – Twelve Premiere Tickets for the price of ten and VIP early entry.
Sponsor Tickets- all sponsorship tickets includes VIP early entry

ATTENDING CINEMANIA
Are the Cinemania Tickets refundable?
Due to the nature of this fundraising event, refunds are not available.
Is there an age restriction?
All guests must be 21 years or older to attend Cinemania.
What is the taxable value for a Cinemania ticket?
For tax purposes Premiere Tickets are valued at $155.
What is your photography policy?
Attendance at Cinemania constitutes permission for Heartland Film to photograph or videotape the attendee while at the Cinemania event and to use any resulting pictures or video for purpose without payment to the attendee.
EXPERIENCE
What can I expect?
Cinemania is a signature fundraising event to support the non-profit arts organization, Heartland Film, with the 2025 theme A Tribute to Dance Films of the 80s!
This will be an immersive evening of entertainment, drinks, food and interactive experiences all centered around dance films from the 1980s.
Will there be dinner?
This will not be a sit-down dinner, but we will have food stations throughout the venue that you can easily take around as you experience Cinemania.
Are drinks included?
Yes, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included in your ticket. The event is for ages 21+.
Will they show a film?
While we are a film-based organization, there will be no films playing at this event.
What entertainment will be there?
We’ll have an 80s tribute band on the main stage as well as other entertainment throughout the evening.
What’s the theme?
Every year the film-focused theme will change, the 2025 theme is A Tribute to Dance Films of the 80s!
What’s the Jimmy Stewart Lounge?
The Jimmy Stewart Lounge is a more private area for attendees to hang out. This is a heated, covered, outdoor area with lounge seating that includes signature cocktails.
TIMELINE
How long is the event?
Cinemania begins at 6 PM for Sponsors & Party Pack holders and 7 PM for Premiere Ticketholders. The event ends at 11 PM.
What is the timeline for the evening?
Cinemania will kick off with a red-carpet entrance, and the rest of the evening is yours to go around and experience the event. There is not a formal timeline or presentation.
PARKING
Where can I park?
Complimentary parking is behind The Crane Bay Event Center (yellow on map). This parking lot can be accessed on the west side of the event center off Merrill Street (green on map). You can walk through the East Lot toward to get to the main entrance of Cinemania (orange on map).
Pick-Up & Drop-Off Uber/Lyft
We want everyone to get home safely from this event, and encourage attendees to consider taking an Uber, Lyft or getting a ride home. We will have designated attendees helping to organize the traffic flow of Uber and Lyft rides at the venue entrance.
ATTIRE
What do I wear?
The attire for the evening is eclectic '80s chic. Think cocktail attire with a 1980s twist. The more fun, the better!
Will it be inside or outside?
The majority of the event will take place inside, and the Jimmy Stewart Lounge will be outside.
